Winter Hairstyles 2008-2009 Winter Hairstyles

Winter Hairstyles 2008-2009

Winter is here once again, and with the change of season come changes in fashion and hairstyle trends as ever. This season we will be seeing several hairstyle trends mostly inspired by famous celebrities.

The length is not essential as both short haircuts and long tresses are still both popular. Volume though is important whether you go for short or long hairstyle this winter. Layers and shags look sexy. Ends casually flipped under or over with the help of a dryer, paddle brush, and/or ceramic iron. Medium short to super long hair will look great with uneven chunky layers.

Soft waves and curls flowing naturally down the shoulders are also trendy. For hair colors, deep brown and auburn will be very popular this winter too. Blondes can add some subtle lowlights for that extra depth and dimension.

Although not as excessively voluminous as that of the 80’s, “big” hair will be reinvented this season. A tousled look can easily be achieved with hot rollers or a wide barreled curling iron.

During winter, humidity which can frizz out sleek hair is less. Thus shiny sleek hair is easily achievable too. Using a flat ceramic iron, you can straighten out natural waves. Then set it with hairspray to ensure that you will have straight hair throughout the day.

When in a hurry, medium to long tresses can just be tied into a side ponytail or side bun. A side ponytail cascading to your shoulder or a side bun looks equally chic and neat during winter.
