Brooke Hogan, daughter of the famous wrestler, Hulk Hogan was recently seen at the 52st Annual GRAMMY awards looking every inch the sassy blonde vixen with her blonde hair, revealing dress and wonderful make up. However, would her father really approve of such a look?

We have seen Brooke grow up so to speak on the hit TV show “Hogan knows best” where we saw her father commenting on various outfits that she had worn, but in the look that she sported at the GRAMMY awards, she seems to have really come into her own.

The hair was very simple which went rather well with the strapless lilac dress that she was wearing which quite literally showed off some of her best assets. Long flowing loose waves was the hairstyle of choice with the centre parting allowing her hair to fall sexily around her pretty face. Falling down to cleavage level, the loose curls showed a rather grown up side to the young girl that we were used to seeing on the television and with the bright blonde color, it still showed that she had all of the rebellious and sexy streak that we saw on the TV show.

Despite the fact that Hulk seemed rather strict on his daughter in the show, Brooke really has come into her own with a hairstyle that screams with sex appeal and a dress that showed that she was proud of her figure. With that and brightly glimmering diamonds adoring her pretty fingers, Brooke looked every inch the red carper lady!

Paris Hilton Latest Bob Haircut

Paris Hilton is always in the headlines for one reason or another and normally it is because of her wild lifestyle and crazy Hollywood parties. However at the 2009 Mercedes Benz fashion week, Paris Hilton turned up looking almost demure in nature and with a hairstyle that is very reminiscent of many celebrity females currently adorning our glossy magazines.

The graduated bob or “Pob” as Victoria Beckham nicknamed it was a very massive fashion statement made at the latter end of 2008 but seemed to be continuing in the current 2009 fashion period. Many of our favorite stars succumbed to the short and very foxy hairstyle including Katie Holmes, Victoria Beckham and Rihanna and it would seem that the look seems to be a favorite for Paris Hilton as well. Worn down with a parting that was just off from centre, Paris looked rather stunning and the hairstyle made her appear much more nature in nature than the long blonde hair extension type look that we are more used to seeing her with.

Framing her tiny face with razored edges, the bob was just at chin level and the slightly off centre parting gave her the look of sophistication and glamour, something that would not normally be associated with the hotel chain heir.

Although the graduated bob look has been around for some time now, it shows no signs of going anywhere soon and with such fashion idols as Victoria Beckham and Paris Hilton adorning the look, it is sure to have many more women out there wanting it as well.

For Kate Winslet, it has been a fantastic few months with her winning at both the Golden Globes and the Oscars. British people all over the world sat with bated breath to see if she would finally get the Oscar that she so desperately deserved and for once her dreams came true as did those of budding young actresses all over the world.

Thankfully this time Kate had a better speech prepared and with her elegant one shoulder dress, beautifully set 50’s inspired hair and flawless makeup, it would seem that this time she was one hundred percent prepared for the coming award.

The look that Kate Winslet went for at the glittering Oscars was almost a regal one; she had wonderful shining diamond earrings which wouldn’t look out of place on the Royal Family and with a rich blue dress that had just one shoulder gave her a real hour glass figure which Kate has been proud of for many years.

The hairstyle that she went for was quite 50’s inspired and imitated the bob look without having to cut off any length. Swept back from her face, the hair was slightly different to the side swept bangs that we have come to know Kate for and the whole look was beautifully sculpted and is bound to have women all over the world drooling over it.

For once, Kate Winslet got her Oscar and with the marvelous look that she pulled off and the media’s great reaction, it is a moment that she is sure never to forget.

As usual there were a large amount of women that apparently got the wrong hair for the dress at this year’s Oscars. Of course there were the celebrities that got it very right such as Angelina Jolie, Kate Winslet and Penelope Cruz but there were a couple of girls that really let the side down, either with too much or too little or just not right at all.

Beyonce was known to be one of the ones that got the look wrong and this is a shock for one of the world’s most glamorous women. She had a rather severe pulled back ponytail which was livened up with loose and cascading curls but the look seemed rather harsh for her pretty face and was also too severe for her pretty dress.

It was also said that Jennifer Aniston just did not put enough thought into her hair. It was a pretty and laid back look but simply did not have the right amount of glamour for such a prestigious red carpet event. The same applies to Anne Hathaway who wore a look that we have already seen a thousand times before and people are simply getting bored with.

There is a fine line with regards to hair and clothing at red carpet events such as the Oscars and thankfully a fair few got it just right this year. However, some of them managed to get it spectacularly wrong and a prime example of this was the heavily overdone Heidi Klum.

Katie Price AKA the infamous Jordan has recently come out with a new range of equestrian gear, calling for another public appearance and yet more speculation over her fluctuating weight loss and gain and her current super skinny figure.

Despite this however, she looked a million dollars and her hair looked particularly spectacular, going back to dark again rather than blonde which has recently sparked rumors that she is once again pregnant, but this seems to be just that; rumors.

It would appear that this recently public appearance for Katie was rather a quiet one and with rather fetching makeup came a rather simple hair style that was very dark brown, almost black in color. With the hair pulled back from her face in a simple pony tail but with the hair wrapped around the top of the pony tail to conceal the hair band, the look was indeed a very plain one but on this beautiful woman, still looked fantastic.

This goes to show that even the most simple of hairstyles can be worn in a very dramatic and pretty way.

Katie Price has gone for many styles, cuts and colors over the years but with almost black hair, she looked very striking and although it would seem that her usual preference is straight hair, the appearance saw her with slight waves within her style, looking elegant yet laid back and relaxed at the same time. For once, it would seem that nobody could argue with just how beautiful Katie Price looked and whether her now her hair color is do with a pregnancy has yet to be announced.

Vanessa Hudgens, one of the stars of the hit US series of films, “High School Musical” has recently been spotted out and about at the US premiere of the new film that is set to rock the cinemas, “The Watchmen.” With a new song out, it’s time for Vanessa to take on a more grown up approach to life, leaving behind her cute and girlie says from the musical type films, and this she managed with ease at the red carpet event.

With a pretty pink dress with matching shoes and a hairstyle that many women can only dream of, Vanessa looked every inch the red carpet girl that she should have done and even though the hair look pretty and girlie but with a grown up edge, it was a simple look that could have gone either way.

The long and loose locks in a dark brown color made her appear more grown up than what she actually is but the pretty loose waves in the hair retained her girlie appeal and funky attitude without looking as if she had tried too hard. With a centre parting and the hair just hanging loosely around her face, her dark eyes were accentuated and her prominent cheek bones slightly hidden.

So, is it time for Vanessa to say goodbye to her High School Musical days and start to look for more mature and older screen appearances? The hairstyle seemed to suggest that she was taking on a more mature role but the girlie pink dress and pretty waves almost suggested otherwise.
