Classic Ponytail Hair For Summer 2010

Classic Ponytail Hair For Summer 2010

Long Hairstyle Ideas presents Classic Ponytail For Summer -Summer haircuts for women 2009

Ponytails are always a good choice, and especially so in the hot summer months! Try a classic ponytail if you're on the run, or go for a more sophisticated version. Pull your hair into a high ponytail and secure with a neutral colored elastic band. Then, pull a thick strand of hair out of the elastic holder and wrap it around so that the hair obscures the elastic. Secure with a small bobby pin on the underside of the ponytail.

2010 SIMPLE BRIDESMAID HAIRSTYLES

Being chosen to be a bridesmaid in a wedding is a great honor and women should make sure that they look their best. Some brides have a certain style that they want all of their bridesmaids to wear. Other brides allow the women to choose their own various styles.

Many bridesmaids like to wear an updo for the formal occasion. This is a good choice because it is very appropriate. Soft curls pinned up in a bun are popular and very attractive hairstyles. For those bridesmaids that have been instructed to pin flowers or decorations in their hair this style also makes it easy to add any necessary accessories. Ladies with longer hair may want to leave a few curls down in the back or on the side to add a little flair to the elegant look. Some women even opt for a tightly curled, slicked back ponytail or bun, which can also look very good.

For those ladies who prefer to wear their hair down they may want to go with loose cascading curls that fall gently down their shoulders and back. They can use curling irons or for tighter and perhaps longer lasting curls, they can use rollers to achieve the big curls.

LONG HAIRSTYLES TRENDS FOR 2010

The year 2010 is just around the corner. Long hair is beautiful and will be popular in 2010. While it can be a bit more work, long hair should be seriously considered as it is complimentary to almost everyone, no matter their face shape or whether their hair fine or thick. Layered styles will be popular in 2010. Layers are so versatile it’s nearly impossible for them not to be popular. Layered cuts frame the face, and you can do many things with the different layers to give yourself a shorter style, to look classy, even to look as messy as you’d like (and on purpose!) Adding curls, waves, and different parts can take your style to a whole new level.

Long hair with bangs is also going to be popular in 2010. Whether you wear your hair in waves or super sleek, bangs are all the rage. If you wear your hair straight, your bangs can be cut into a straight fringe or even let to wisp over your forehead. Put your hair up into a ponytail with bangs for a look easy to dress for night and great for day or even try a braid. If you love curls, bangs can be curled or left straight, parted on the side or swept, and you’ll love beautiful. Wavy hair with slightly curled bangs is also a great look for a romantic night out.

CELEBRITY BOB HAIRCUTS 2010

We love looking at celebrities. We study aspects of their lives, their style, and even the way they spend their money. Celebrities have styles we love to emulate and none more so than the way they wear their hair.

CIARA’S PONYTAIL BOB

Many celebrities – such as Rhianna, Katie Holmes, and Victoria Beckham – opted to wear their hair short in a bob. The bob has recently made a huge comeback and is one of the most versatile hairstyles. Victoria Beckham wore a concave bob and reinvented the style. Her hair was framing her face perfectly while longer on one side and with lots of style. Katie Holmes wore her hair in an angled bob, while Rhianna has worn her hair in a pixie bob style that was flattering and edgy.

RIHANNA’S PIXIE BOB HAIRSTYLE

The celebrities know that the bob is a great style that can be updated and changed to fit anyone. The bob can be suited to any woman’s face and the stars are proving that every time one of them gets a new bob haircut. Rhianna and Katie have very different facial structures yet they both look incredible, just proving that the stars have some trends we should definitely follow. A bob haircut is one of those for us all to look as trendy and sexy as the celebrities are.

Alexa Vega has been in roles from “Spy Kids” to spots on shows such as “ER.” She was born with thick, wavy hair, being half-Italian, and half-Colombian. Her hair has been dyed many times for different roles but now she’s allowing it go back to its natural color of blonde.

CUTE ALEXA VEGA

One style Alexa has worn is a fringed ponytail. This simple style is great if you have sharp features, a wide forehead, or a prominent, because it helps make all of those look more feminine. Have lots of volume in your hair and pull it back into a ponytail. The sides of your hair will have lots of body and will give you a softer look. Sweep layered bangs to the side of your face for a look that is as casual or dressy as you want and always feminine and playful.

ALEXA VEGA

Another style she has worn is where her hair is pulled back to the middle of her head and then pinned with a nice clip or barrette. She left some loose pieces to frame her face. Another style is where she wore a spiral curl, which softened her face and was very pretty. Her styles are great for those with long faces, but should be worn with caution if your face is round because it could make you seem rounder and heavier than you are.

PROM UPDOS 2010

If you are going to prom, you have to look good. You don’t want to wear a hairstyle that is so old-fashioned you’ll be laughed out but you don’t want to look weird either. The following are some up-dos that would be perfect to wear to the prom.

PROM UPDO HAIRSTYLE 2010

Debra Messing

This first look you can either have a stylist do or you can try it yourself. It’s fairly simple and looks great. Wash your hair and add styling lotion from the roots out. Blow dry your hair until very dry. Once dry, roll in hot rollers and spray with holding spray right before curling. When they are curl, take them out one by one and tease a little at the root. Keep pieces together and pull your hair back into a ponytail. Take the chunky pieces of hair and roll up, pinning in place at the crown. Do this for all the pieces but do them all in different directions. Part bangs and smooth along your face and secure everything with extra pins.

Another great style is great for straight hair. Blow dry your hair and then pull back into a ponytail. Separate into four pieces, wind them around each other, and pin in place. Wind them loosely and add jeweled pins. Pin your bangs along the sides of your face and spray lots of hair spray.
