Over the years girls’ hairstyles have evolved from the conservative long tresses to medium length and to short haircuts. Nowadays many girls choose to go for hairstyles that are easy to manage and are versatile enough to adapt to their modern active lifestyles.

There are certain criteria that must be met for girls’ hairstyles to be considered easy to manage. These include the following:

• Versatility– girls’ hairstyles that can either be worn down, tied or bundled up, or pinned back are great.

• Texture – if your hair is smooth and tangle-free, it will be easy to manage thus less time will be consumed in styling your hair.

• Length – short hairstyles are very manageable in the sense that styling is quite limited compared to that of medium length or long hair.

• Type – Straight hair is easier to control and manage than wavy or curly hair.

Easy and manageable hairstyles for girls therefore are those that have any or all of the qualities mentioned above. The length of the hair though is not a strong factor in determining its ease and manageability. It is because long sleek hairstyle which can simply be worn down or tied into a beautiful ponytail can be easier to keep than a short hairstyle with unruly curls and waves.
